Me Learning is to deliver a blended training package of digital and virtual classroom learning to support the roll out of three new case management systems for both adult and children’s services across the Borough of Dudley.
The training solution will combine digital learning and live virtual sessions, to enable teams to develop the skills they need from any location, on any device.
The training will utilise a unique methodology crafted by Me Learning over 14 years called LearnStream, created specifically to support the implementation and ongoing use of large-scale technology systems software. LearnStream saves both time and money while delivering improved training outcomes and is ideal with the ongoing uncertainty as a result of Covid-19.
The training package in Dudley will be deployed from the Summer this year and will equip the 1,400 strong social care workforce with the skills they need. Learners will be supported by a blend of online and virtual training which is appropriate to their role. This will be provided ahead of the go-live of the three systems which will be used to help social care workers to better manage the cases of adults and children across the Borough.
Nick Richards, CEO at Me Learning says:
“We are delighted to be working with the local authority in Dudley to improve the quality and availability of training for their people at this important time when they approach the go-live of three major systems.
“We know, through our work with other social care departments, that blending digital and virtual training can provide huge benefits for both learners and the organisations involved. Our LearnStream methodology is designed specifically to get a large workforce up to speed quickly on the key functionality during a major system roll out.”
Under the contract, Me Learning will provide:
- A full training needs analysis and training strategy.
- A blended package of online and virtual training for the 1,400 people making up the social care workforce in Dudley, across both adult and children’s services.
Me Learning specialises in developing learning to support the roll-out and upgrade of all technology and software systems. The LearnStream approach enables people to gain competency quickly, reducing disruption to an organisation.
