There is a lot to consider when designing for accessibility. Read our guide below to discover tips on how to create accessible digital learning.
Tip #1 – Font size
The correct font size can help make your content readable on all screens sizes.
Following the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, body text needs to be at least 16 pixels. The text should also be able to be resized to 200% without losing content or functionality.
Tip #2 – Alt text
Alt text is a brief description of an image that is read aloud to learners using screen reader soÂftware.
Tip #3 – Keyboard navigation
Keyboard navigation allows people to navigate a page without the use of a mouse.
Navigating through a website with a keyboard uses the TAB key to move forward and the SHIFT+TAB combination to move backwards.
